This is the dramatic moment a horse pulling VIP's at Londons annual New Years Day Parade collapses onto the road. It is thought the horse became spooked with the noise of the crowd and bands. The scene was unsettling to watch particularly as children were present. Moments later the horse is released from its carriage and stands up. the crowd breathed a sigh of relief and applauded the quick response of the riders and passing police officers.
